Justin Mc Inerney.

Justin Mc Inerney is Chief Executive of Pulsar direct Ltd. Pulsar is a market leading distributor of Heating, Plumbing & renewable Energy Products in the UK and Ireland. Specialising is wholesaling directly to Trade Installers and with a focus on renewable energy products Pulsar direct commands a market leading position within its markets. Pulsar direct now has distribution centres in Cork, Ireland and in Milton Keynes in the UK.

Justin is principal owner of Team Pulsar Racing and is an avid powerboat enthusiast specialising in offshore long distance endurance racing. A veteran of many offshore endurance events including the Round Britain 2008, and the Round Ireland speed record in 2009, along with many RIB runs to the UK and around Ireland. A RIB specialist Justin has designed & hand built both his Team’s boats embracing the very best in outboard motor, shock mitigation and marine electronic technologies in association with John Price at Quinquari Marine.

Justin lives in Cork with his wife Antoinette, daughter Alex and dog Barry.

Justin will co-skipper  SeaWolf. with Andrew during the Around Ireland Offshore Powerboat Race in 2010.

Andrew Varley.

Andrew is the Managing Director and owner of Pharmatherm Ltd, Irelands leading thermal validation specialist. He spends most of his time checking how hot things are but assures us he will be the epitome of cool during the race.

Andrew is a serious RIB enthusiast and has many years experience trying to make his own boat go faster. Andrew is a veteran of several long haul RIB runs including going around Ireland in 2009. Andrew brings a calm and experience to the crew and is looking forward to the challenges ahead. Andrew has commissioned a new high tech RIB from Mizen Marine which will be delivered later in the summer.

Andrew lives in Cork with his partner Alicia and sons Josh and Jake.

Andrew will co-skipper Seawolf with Justin during the Around Ireland Offshore Powerboat Race 2010.

Derek Stanley.

Derek is Managing Director of Stanley Autos Ltd based in Cork. Derek set up Stanley Autos in Cork in 1991 and has happily sold, serviced and repaired the Cars of Cork ever since.

“Stan” is a long term member of Team Pulsar Racing and is a veteran of the Round Britain in 2008 and the successful round Ireland speed record in 2009. Stan also has many years experience in long distance RIB runs having been to the UK and around Ireland on many occasions.

Stan is Team mechanic amongst many other things and is the go to guy when things go wrong. A top class mechanical brain and knowing a bit about boats Stan is involved in all the boat builds with Justin.

Stan lives in Cork with his wife Suzi, and Children Shaun, Sarah & Abby.

Stan will be co-skipper Wolf.with Ralph during the Around Ireland Offshore Powerboat Race 2010.

Ralph Gunn.

Ralph is an Area Sales Manager with mobile phone company O2. He reliably informs us that he is responsible for the success of O2 in Ireland and that Team Pulsar will benefit greatly from his skills.

Ralph is a seasoned RIB enthusiast with many years experience. He and his RIB Geronimo went around Ireland in 2009 as well as taking part in regular RIB runs around West Cork.

Ralph lives in Cork with his wife Andrea and sons Scott and Dylan.

Ralph will co-skipper Wolf with Stan during the Around Ireland Offshore Powerboat Race 2010.

Paul Lewis.

Paul is a business advisor providing holistic business solutions to business owners in Bath, where he is based, and the West Country.

Since 2001, Paul has run his own successful business consultancy and has recently added the Icon business development programmes to the range of services his organisation offers. He has worked with small, medium sized businesses and global corporations, in the UK, Ireland, Scotland, USA, Italy and Germany.

Paul has also always enjoyed messing about with boats and water based sports. A qualified recreational diver he enjoys sailing, canoeing and rowing. A veteran of the Round Britain 08 with Team Pulsar Paul is determined to be a key ingredient to the success of Team Pulsar.

He is married to Roisin with two children Jazmin and Conrad and a recent addition Sam who now lives with his family for whom Paul and Roisin are guardians.

Paul, a keen organiser of lockers will co-skipper both boats as crew and also has agreed to organise the entire logistics requirements for the Around Ireland Offshore Powerboat Race in 2010.

Barry Mc Inerney.

Barry is an expert Power Boat enthusiast with a highly skilled navigational nose capable of getting him home for grub even when at sea.He has had many years experience assisting Justin on board and is a welcome member of the Wolf crew.

Barry lives in Cork, and when not out on the water is content to guard the fridge from attack at home. He is in training for the RB08 and looks forward to meeting all the other Crews and sharing their lunch with them.
